OBJECTIVES AND DIPLOMA

ACADEMIC OBJECTIVE

TRAINING OBJECTIVE
Preparation of human resources for the practice of ozone therapy based on solid scientific knowledge.

VALIDITY OF THE DIPLOMA ISSUED BY AEPROMO
The student who has successfully passed the three written exams that are held at the end of each of the three modules in which the 300 hours of the diploma course are divided, in addition to the presentation of the written work “end of the diploma course”, will be awarded the respective diploma issued by AEPROMO (Spanish Association of Medical Professionals in Ozone Therapy). The diploma lists the curriculum and the number of hours.
The best “end of the diploma course” papers are published in the “Ozone Therapy Global Journal”, an indexed and peer-reviewed journal. It is an official and bilingual (Spanish and English) publication of AEPROMO, which has been issued continuously since 2011. https://ozonetherapyglobaljournal.es/
The AEPROMO diploma does not grant credits. It is not recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education, nor is it issued by any university or educational center authorized by the Spanish authorities. It serves to accredit the employer and/or the patient and the health authorities that the bearer of the AEPROMO diploma is knowledgeable in ozone therapy, with sufficient solid knowledge to apply ozone therapy according to its scientific foundation and in safe and effective conditions. It is a diploma that is fully updated every year, adapting it to the scientific advances of ozone therapy.
We have already completed 9 diploma courses (on October 3, 2023 we will start No. 10), in Spanish and English, and despite the limitation of official academic recognition, Spanish doctors and other health professions from many countries in the world do so because at the end of the 300 hours, the professional really becomes a connoisseur of ozone therapy. This is not learned in weekend courses, although they are useful and convenient, they are not enough.
The experience of the diplomas carried out has taught us that the students are highly motivated to learn ozone therapy well and as for the diploma, they use it to be able to demonstrate to their patients and authorities that they do have the required training. As ozone therapy is not recognized as a specialty by the Spanish Ministry of Education, the Community of Madrid, where AEPROMO is based, does not grant credits to the diploma course.
Academic degrees and own degrees awarded by Spanish universities
University academic degrees, issued in Spain, are only recognized by the Ministry of Education, not by the Ministry of Health. And that of Education recognizes a very limited number of medical specialties.
The vast majority of Spanish universities (private and public), carry out an immense number of specialties in very different subjects (medicine, law, architecture, engineering, etc.) that award a diploma called “título propio” (Art. 2, g, Organic Law 6/2001, of December 21).
The “títulos propios” do not have academic recognition by the Ministry of Education. Its only endorsement is that it has been issued by a university or academic institution with that faculty.
The “títulos propios” serve “so that scientific and technical innovations are transferred as quickly and efficiently as possible to society as a whole and continue to be its main engine of development” (point VII of the explanatory statement of Organic Law 6/2001).
