Thanks to the very active support of Mexican politicians, ozone therapy has been included in the health legislation of three Mexican states: Nuevo León (2018), Mexico City (2023), and Hidalgo (2024). Similar legislative projects are underway in the states of Morelos, Quintana Roo, Baja California, and Sonora.

At the national level, the Senate of the Mexican Republic is processing the project presented in 2021 to include ozone therapy in article 79 of the General Health Law.

Participation and intervention of politicians in the webinar

Mexican politicians who have been very actively collaborating to have ozone therapy included in the health regulations of the States and the entire Republic, intervened live in the webinar on August 17, 2024, to express their full support for ozone therapy to continue to be included in the legislation of the different Mexican states.

The then senator José Alfonso Pascual Solórzano Praga for the state of Michoacán (MORENA Party), who presented the bill on April 27, 2021, for ozone therapy to be included in the General Health Law of Mexico. https://aepromo.org/presented-bill-on-ozone-therapy-in-the-mexican-senate/

 

Deputy Miguel Ángel Martínez Gómez (PRD, Democratic Revolutionary Party), from the state of Hidalgo, who was an active promoter of the project to include ozone therapy in the Health Law of his state. Deputy Casandra Priscila de Los Santos Flores who is promoting a legislative project on ozone therapy in the state of Tamaulipas. Also present from that same state was Dr. Vicente Joel Hernández Navarro, Secretary of Health.
