  • Ozone therapy returns to ICOMEM in 2024 with the organization of a great theoretical-practical seminar.

 

The headquarters of AEPROMO (Spanish Association of Medical Professionals in Ozone Therapy) was in the ICOMEM (Illustrious Official College of Physicians of Madrid) since 2010. It was expelled from there in September 2017. The ICOMEM thus joined the campaign deployed by the Spanish OMC (Collegiate Medical Organization), who, previously in 2017, decided to classify ozone therapy as pseudotherapy. Since the arbitrary decision against ozone therapy made by the OMC (Collegiate Medical Organization), AEPROMO has been requesting the creation of a working group to analyze the scientific foundations of the therapy. Without giving any justification, the OMC rejected our request; and subsequently, systematically, does not respond to our repeated requests.

 

Persecution against ozone therapy and the president of AEPROMO

Continuing its attack against ozone therapy, the OMC, through its then treasurer Dr. Jerónimo Fernández Torrente, denounced (January 17, 2019), without any basis, the president of AEPROMO Dr. Adriana Schwartz at ICOMEM, describing her as the “head leader of the AEPROMO gang.” ICOMEM sanctioned Dr. Schwartz (November 16, 2020).

After a long administrative and judicial ordeal suffered by Dr. Schwartz, and persecution against ozone therapy, just before a public hearing in the Contentious-Administrative Court No. 25 of Madrid, the new board of directors of ICOMEM decided “the revocation of the sanction agreement” against Dr. Schwartz; and considered that there was “sufficient scientific evidence to understand that ozone therapy can be used as a complementary treatment for therapies such as cancer, among other pathologies”. Ozone therapy again at ICOMEM

In accordance with its decision, ozone therapy will be the protagonist at the ICOMEM headquarters, on May 31, 2024, where AEPROMO will carry out the theoretical part of the theoretical-practical Seminar on “Modern Ozone Therapy – For Modern Ozone Therapy Present and Future”. In this way, ICOMEM once again opens its doors to ozone therapy, and AEPROMO returns providing duly founded and scientific elements of therapy, in a great seminar of national and international prestige.
