Dr. Bernandino Clavo Varas has received the 2021 “Can de las Ciencias” award, conferred by the Spanish Gran Canaria Council (Cabildo).
Dr. Bernardino Clavo Varas is a member of AEPROMO (Spanish Association of Medical Professionals in Ozone Therapy) and ISCO3 (International Scientific Committee of Ozone Therapy). He has also been a professor of all the editions of the diploma course ” “Ozone Therapy and Growth Factors activated with Ozone”, organized by AEPROMO. Diploma course that is now in its 7th edition.
Dr. Clavo MD, PhD, is a radiologist oncologist of the Research Unit, Radiation Oncology and Chronic Pain Unit of the Hospital Universitario de Gran Canaria Dr. Negrín Las Palmas (Canary Islands).
The well-deserved “Can de las Ciencias” award from the Spanish Gran Canaria Council (Cabildo) has been conferred to Dr. Clavo “for his extensive and enriching research work in cutting-edge treatments in chronic and oncological diseases, and in particular for his profitable research work on clinical uses of ozone.”
The awards ceremony took place at the Alfredo Kraus auditorium in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on April 15, 2021 on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the creation of the island institution.
Three years ago, Dr. Bernardino Clavo Varas received the “Dr. González Jaraba” award delivered by the Official College of Physicians of Las Palmas, on November 23, 2018, for his research in” Inflammatory cytokines in ischemic heart disease ‘O3Cardio’ “.
